Finally Turbo'D!!

Well guys its offical. As of today Monday May 29 my 2001 2.4L is turbocharged. I spent all of the 28th finishing the downpipe and making sure everything was going to install smoothly. Today we picked up a few more parts and replaced some stuff while it was apart and got it installed. I will post pictures tomorrow once I finish getting the downloaded. I also have to take it to get flashed tomorrow. The first initial start up was a little ruff for it but then it seemed to tweak in. As of now I have the following installed:
Ebay Turbo Manifold
1G DSM BOV
Custom 2.5" Intercooler Piping
Custom 2.5" Downpipe
Garrett T3 Super 60
Johnny Race Car FMIC
GM 310cc Injectors
2 Bar MAP Sensor (believe from a grand national turbo)
Oil Feed & Return Lines (tapped pan)
NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
I think thats everything and like I said it gets reflashed tomorrow. But I love the way it sounds and especially the blow off valve. Just thought I would let everybody know and I will have pictures tomorrow. Also I accomplished my goal of turboing my cavalier before I turned 18! LOL

Sorry guys today got really busy so I am going to take some pictures in the morning. I also need to hook up my boost gauge to see how many psi I am running it only feels like 3 or so right now because we had to mess with the wastegate during the install. Sorry for the wait but I am loving it. Also the 1g dsm sounds nice during shifting and all I just don't care for the sound when you put it in neutral.

Looking good, the only thing i dont like is how the intercooler sits below the line of the frt bumper. If you get a lip kit or raise it up a little it would look awsome.

Ya I planned on getting the RKSport lip for it. As for the track its going to be awhile I leave tomorrow and don't come back till the 12th of August but I am going to be ordering a bunch more of stuff for it over the summer. I plan to run about 7psi daily and 10psi at the track. Over the summer I am going to try and get the lip for it, a fidanza short shifter, front and rear strut bar, a crank pulley, a exhaust, and then finish up what I have on the car already like powder or ceramic coating the charge pipes and turbo manifold and just some little stuff like that. I will keep everybody updated as I purchase more parts for it. Also I want to thank everybody that has helped and its amazing when you finally get everything after all the research and you know that you have built it and its exactly what you want.

looks pretty good, nice work.

i would put that IAT sensor somewhere, rather then leaving it dangle there.

keep us updated.

does anyone every get worried about the heat from the turbine and downpipe next to the ac lines and how much air gap is needed between turbo and firewall?

ya my main concern was the heater lines. I think there is a decent amount of space between the dp and the ac lines. As for the firewall I might get some spray coating or something. My entire engine is actually running 7 degrees or so colder than it did before lol. Also I was thinking of gettting the dp and turbo exhaust ceramic coated.
