Ok so as the topic says, i need to know if this is my FPR crapping out on me, when driving under normal conditions the engine will go really lean, like 19.9, and wont change with throttle position unless i hit boost and trip the FMU into backing fuel into the rail ,then it richens out. The fuel pressure is good though, no matter what, so im at a loss.
Sometimes fuel will spill out the vac line port, otherwise the only way to tell is to use a fuel pressure gauge, you can use one on the rail, look at it when the engine is running, then pull the vac line off it and the pressure should go up.

sounds more like a bad wideband sensor... how close is it to the turbo? It wouldn't run right at all at 19.9:1

I have a fule pressure gauge hooked up, ill try the vacuum thing, thanks for the suggestion. the wideband sensor is very close to the turbo, and indeed i have worried about it getting damaged, but the car runs badle when it hits 19 too, i guess thats a given, but it shows that something else might be wrong.. any other thoughts?
I had a similar problem with my car running lean like that.It was my o2 sensor.I unplugged it and the car idled at 14:7 where as before it was idling at 16.0-17.0.Unplug it and take it for a spin and see if it runs better.

hmm you know you may be on to something, i had two codes pop up, one was the o2 sensor the other was the knock sensor. Thing is i just replaced that damn o2 sensor like a month ago, could it be faulty or go bad that quickly?
It's not common for an O2 sensor to go that fast, but it is also not unheard of. Usually when they die quickly it is due to either heat or conamination. If you have used any type of silicon spray in the intake tubing that would deffinately kill the sensor... if the O2 is anywhere as near as close as the wideband, heat would kill it just as fast. You will be extremely lucky if your wideband is still accurate after running that close for so long. The lean condition may not be as bad as it appears if the wideband isn't accurate. It would be a good idea to relocate it and compare to another wideband after the lean situation is fixed.
