yeah a used turbo kit that wont fit on your car for 800 bucks, thats not cheap. Cheap would be like 200-300 bucks a most.

Im not sure where you guys are getting your information from, 800 is great if a few key things are there. is it a custom kit? where did he buy it from. if its a higer end company the turbo alone is worth it.
is the kit in good conditon? this is probably most important.
what is the model turbo?
also whats the fueling system? if its an adjustable fmu then I dont see why it cant be used (thats kind of a question)
whats exactly in the kit.

so what? it still won't fit.
as was said, the only thing that could probably be used is some vacuum lines, the turbo, and WG. you could hack up the charge pipes and maybe get them to work but you won't escape fabrication at all.
I doubt a turbo for a 1.8 would be well matched to a 2.2... of course a lot of people have a tendency of putting extremely large turbos on for no reason so you may luck out...
you may be right about the 1.8 turbo being to small, but you of all people know that turbo sizing has alot to do with VE, which the honda b18 has pretty high VE especially compared to the 2200
How about you calculate what size turbo before you run out and buy any old turbo?

Here's an idea... sell it on Ebay, then use the money to buy a kit that will actually fit your car
