Chime in. Has the heat affected your hood in any way? Just wondering if I should deisgn some sort of heatshield before tossing on my new hood with this turbo setup. I'm sure someone is turbo with a cf hood so speak up.

i dont have a cf hood but i have the 97 SS RamAir Hood......i havent had any heat issues with it but my turbo sits low to the trans......like i had to grind the trans so the compressor didnt hit.....but only had to take an 1/8 off or so....(long story)....

Dragracemyz24 has a super 60 and sits like 4 inches under the hood and he doesnt have any heat issues...he also has the evo cf hood....i would say youll be good to go
