Alright, so the dilly is that w/ the 2.4 s/c i guess the tensioner has a harder time keeping tension, mostly when the a/c is on and kicking. so i replaced it w/ a new one thinking it was going bad, and now again for the second time my tensioner w/ the a/c on is hella noisy and shaky when the a/c is on and the car is idling. does anyone elses do this?

your a/c compressor messed up?
how many miles u got on the car?
i dont have any issues with mine , and my tensioner has over 100k on it
depending on the noise yours is making , you might want to check the belt length , if the belt is to long or to short , the tensioner will smack the stops on 1 end or the other
some shaking on the tensioner is normal with the a/c at idle , because of the extra load from the a/c compressor
when i turn on my ac my idle goes from 900-1000 rpms to 1300-1400 rpms. and it shakes hella
