Disappointing day! 12.500@118.98mph.
Sunday, May 07, 2006 5:20 PM
Well I was at the track today and 1st gear gave me hell, injectors are too big and the car couldn't get out of the hole.
I ran on diecent pass, on 19 psi.
1.885
5.263
7.937
91.28mph
10.241
12.161
116.68mph

The other 2 on 22psi, as the ECU was pulling timing.
2.310
5.861
8.530
91.62mph
10.808
12.698
118.79mph
the 3rd one
2.094
5.684
8.336
91.97mph
10.612
12.500
118.98mph

Well that is it, it was hot as hell today with 120F track temps, and all of the cars ran 3-5mph less than what they do when weather is better, but we live in Florida when does it EVER get better?

The car is down for next 2-3 months because that is how long will probably take me to get it back to where I want it, so that I don't embrass myself next time out.

are u serious? 120 degrees and hes trapping almost 119 and pulling a consistent 2.0 60 ft?

he ran a 12.1@116 then he said the ecu was pulling timing on the other runs..... hence the slower times..

i did have a few other questions for you. your still in 4th when your crossing the line or you hitting 5th?
when u ran that 11.9 they didnt kick u out for not having a cage?
and what u launchin at to pull a 1.8 60 ft? thats crazy your stock axles havent gotton pissed off yet.

Traps keep on getting higher, I am aware and the 11.90 was ran at 115mph and a 1.83 60 foot.
Don't get me wrong guys, I have hooked 1.76-1.78 60 foots many times before.
This particular 1.88 was I came out of the hole at 4500 RPM and slipped the clutch as fast as I could.
for a 1.7 I usually come out like 5500-6000 RPM.
Which is normal for me, drive train has not once hikkuped, Quaife is a dream.

Jcavi, I am pretty sure there is some sarcasm involved in your comment, but if not you are right.
Once you hook a 11 sec pass you only expect to get better.
There was a VR4 Galant here local that ran a 11.33 @ 119 mph and that was on a 1.63 60 foot.
Must be nice.

About the cage they won't start bitching till 11.49, whatever mph it is.

I am going to start experiencing with my LSJ parts, Hybrid style. lol

lets see if I can lay the sarcasm on even thicker. yeah your low 12 second pass is garbage espically against mine and other 16 second monsters.

Were you on slicks? Not bad times. I would like to see you in the 11.9's -12.2 on 19psi. I'm debating if I should keep my car and build the engine or get a car with a v8 and build on it. I'm thinking about saying screw all this and getting a Suzuki 750 GSXR. Like I said, I'm debating. Keep up the goodwork though and shoot for 11's.

Next time I am out I am shooting for much lower than high 11's.
But I am going out in a few months from now, my AEM EMS will be on along with the LSJ head and some 274 cams.
Jcavi you know you still my boy even tho you dis my times. lol jk.

Thanks for props Jake when is Team Green gonna go out again??
