Alright first of all I'll tell me deal so I don't get flamed as much...so I'm 16 years old so obviously I'm not working a full time job making so much money as much as alot of people on the JBO but I am working 2 jobs mosly just one right now till the summer so im bring in about 100 bucks a week for me the rest goes to my parents to pay off my car so I can't really afford the "top notch" setup i would like to have (unless i saved up a realllly long time) lol so could somebody please help me create a turbo setup for really as cheap as possible for my stock 97' sunfire engine. ( "cheap" as in minimal equipment without causing harm to my car) so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
man maybe if you have no money you should wait till you do and just do cheaper mods for now
Well you are 16, now is the best time to mod and the easiest. Take it from me, you have no huge car payment, no rent, no college loans, no wife and kids (Hopefully). So all the money you get, just bank it and save. No one says you need to buy everything at once. Get the deals when you can, a decent turbo set up has been done with fuel mods for under 1,000. So idealy in a perfect world based on what you are saying, 100 bux a week = 10 weeks, not so bad be turboed by summer. Check the FAQ at the top for the bar essentials. Get a turbo from a junk yard, have it checked, charge pipes, intercooler, wastegate, BOV, and I dont know much about turbos but there is more stuff. Just read the FAQ and learn some stuff, save some money and have fun.

Your best bet would be all motor. Especially with a $100 a week you still need to pay gas I assume and other things. I am only 17 myself and I wanted boost. I started buying stuff for that boost at the age of 16 and now I am about 2 weeks away from being turbo. Ya it took awhile but I am sure I will be glad in the end. But I would just do as many bolt ons and other modifications you can do. You will be surprised at what power gains you will see and you don't have to wait almost 2 years like me to feel some of that power because you were saving up for a turbo setup. Good Luck!
~Boost. Its what's for dinner!~
