I was Just curious to know if anybody has purchased anything from exlpoited racing as of late? I know they have had a rocky past but I plan on buying one of his manifolds for the 2200 in the near future for my turbo project.

I've been talking with him through e-mails. He has been very quick to respond to all my e-mails. I ordered a ecotec manifold from him. I just ask him to send it C.O.D. and he had no problems with that. I don't feel like my wait has been to long yet. But I'm still waiting.
Only time will tell. But the good thing is it's c.o.d. and if its to much longer i will just have one built from a shop around here.
I have one of the older ones. What a POS nothing was right about it. I was ready to just junk it.

one i have took a buncha abuse from the previous owner. its again taking abuse from me. but its the stainless one. if you buy the crappy mild steel manifold dont be suprised when it fails. as for service from the creator i cant say seeing how i made a point to get mine used.

DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!!!!! My brother ordered stuff from him and the guy kept coming up with excuse after excuse for why the product requested was not sent yet. After a long period - reported it to Mastercard and they returned his money.

He hasn't closed up shop unless he did it between last night and this morning. He still makes things and he is still the best quality you will ever find. Worth the wait IMO. He made my 2.3 T4 manifold and he is working on the equal length turbo header for the sinbird.
Don't listen to what people say about the old manifolds.. they are junk, which is why they aren't made like that anymore.
You can find better service but you CANNOT buy a better manifold.

I know there is quality there, but the year wait is not worth it in my opinion. I order a manifold in January of 2005. I am still waiting. I paid in full the day i bought it. I just want a log manifold, with a wastegate port. for a 95 2.2 sunfire. Is that so much to ask. I think i am out of sight, out of mind.
Why do people snivel and complain about exploited? There are probably thousands of guys in the US and Canada that can weld Stainless, I bet if you went to some of the welding schools with a pattern for the intake flanges they would even cut them for a nominal amount just materials. Why deal with just a few less than reputable businessmen, you have to pay for quality. If you want to go cheap you probably should not turbo your car. Those stainless 90 degree bends are butt weld pieces that you can buy at a Piping supply company and there isn't anything really mysterious about any of it. Don't make it so difficult .

Yes you can. I know at least 3 people who could make a far supior manifold... it would probably cost you in the $400-500 range.... only because of the unmatched quility of parts
you can get a custom manifold made by the guys from phoenixturbo, excellent quality, but it costs $$$.

Quality does NOT surpass the vital essence of good service. Which is why I will never support his company. Regardless of what he has done in the past and what he is doing now. If he wanted a clean slate, he'd refund any money he owes people and give them their order. for free for the hassle
