Well I'm about to dive into the wonderful world of turbos for the 2200. I've done a lil bit of research just with the search button, but i know this forum is notorious for flaming people who dont search so I'm here to ask for some advise any one can offer me that I wouldn't find in my searching. I probably won't post again about this for another 6 months so ...I either plan on going really minimal, like 4-5 PSI with no IC or building up my internals and transmission and getting 10 PSI for 220+ hp. And i would prefer to build the engine and boost it right!

Thanks a bunch!

find ken2.2turbo or LEe

they are your bests bets when it comes to turbo 2.2's

or adler as a matter of fact

I would go with an FMIC no matter what psi...

but hell look up those guys they can help you the most..

just run the 4-5psi WITH an intercooler and when you finally blow the motor up, build it up and run however much you want. that gives you a good amount of time to get familiar with a turbo system be feel confident to run gobs of boost through that thing

With a good tune and a intercooler, 200ish hp shouldnt be a problem.

275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
-1996 2.4 liter + Turbo + Built motor + Torco + More boost = Lots o' Power
-2000 Mustang GT + 2004 Cobra motor, Whipple 2.3 supercharger,
built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!
