how much would a used T3 turbo off a volvo cost roughly? the guy wants 100, and he let me borrow it for the night and they said its in great condition, but then they tried telling me its way to small for my car and would spool to soon

depends on what trim it is

anything less than a 60 trim is too small

doesn't the audi's use the K03 turbo? and people with audi's usually upgrade to k04's
I don't think it used the same T system of ratings.

actually i would listen to this guy.. he does know what he's talking about.

of coarse he's talking about anything smaller than a 60 trim is going to be inefficient and not make nearly as much power/psi.and it'll also choke on the top end..but you can still use something smaller, just don't be surprised when it doesn't make nearly as much power as the guy next to you with a 60trim

For a straight T3, anything less than a 60 trim is too small, so either you aren't reading, or you don't know what you are talking about.
