ok... got a 2000 sunfire, which injectors do I have.... high or low impedence... when was the switch made, cause I have a buddy with a 1999 which would his be?
What would our injector choices be for a boosted application... All these threads about brown and red tops, kinda getting lost in them all..
Also... would the ford injectors be a plug and play or would it require some mods to hook up?
Thanks all
your's should be high impedence, i could be wrong though.
Red tops being #30 injectors or around 330cc......
are fine for up to around 9 - 10psi........ on a 2200......won't want to go any higher then that on stock internals anyways.... so the red tops will be good for what you need......
I have them, you are going to need the clips from a ford for them and splice into your injector wiring harness...................
have fun

The switch was made in the middle of 99, RC injectors and MSD injectors will be plug and play for your wire harness.
So if the switch was made in the middle of 99, how can i tell what mine are then?
There's no place like 127.0.0.1
Measure the resistance with an ohm meter. That will tell you.
High impedance will be around 12-13 ohm's
Anything lower will be low impedance.
