I was hoping some of you guys could post some detailed pics of your turbo setups. I'm piecing mine together, and I want to see how it all fits.

I still have a lot of cleaning up to do, its dirty because it sat outside and wasn't driven for 3 months, thats right after I got the charge pipes put back on it.

In the third picture, I was under the impression that the blow off valve had to be connected to a vacuum hose? And that the vacuum hose had to be short. Do you have yours running all around the engine?

Any more detailed blow off valve pictures anyone?

Mine is connected to a vac source (hose on the top). It doesn't have to be real short, but the shorter the line the more responsive your BOV will be. Mine is run to a connection on the back of the HO manifold, it looks real long but its only going about 36".

Are there any advanages to having a longer/shorter hose other than responsiveness? Is shorter better for the turbo?

If you are running higher PSI you want to avoid as much backpressure as possible when you close the throttle, so you'd want a shorter hose. There are no real advantages to a longer hose, I'd keep it as short as possible, but as you can see with my setup, there weren't a lot of choices for where to put the BOV.

This thread was already going, and I guess I can't post jack my own thread....

How have you guys mounted and wired your boost and fuel pressure gauges and sensors.

Also, where is the ideal place to attach the TMAP sensor?
