Hes getting a new turbo, i garuntee it. His last one was shot, he wouldnt come all of this way and just all of sudden pull it off.
Turbo did take a @!#$ and I am looking at a 62-1 with .63A/R and StageV wheel to replace my 60-1 .63 and Stage III.
BTW Turbonetics big shaft, which is like $800, and I don't have the money.
I am thinking hard and I just don't have money to support my addiction anymore, it is getting really expensive.
Motor is still in tact, I don't know if I want to do this any more, I don't have noone supporting me but myself, not like my daddy is rich or anything.
I cannot even get the manifold off the motor I am hitching a ride to work, I stipped one of the nuts, I am screwed.
Sorry guys, I look at it as a one big ass failure!, I haven't done @!#$ but spend a lot of money.
Plus $400 for the equal lenght manifold, $550 for fuel management, and $600 for the cage, I just don't have it right now.

Maybe if you had built it right the very first time around instead of blowing 3-4 motors and numerous turbochargers, maybe you wouldn't be in this situation. Do it right, or don't do it at all.
I'd look at it as one big failure as well.

if its any consalation your work with your car has not been a failure. I also have no one to push me except people on this site that push them selves.
but if your not enjoying you self dont bother. this should be fun for you and bring you hapiness. I coulndt think of another reason to do it.

Wow Mr. Pute, I have blown numerous motors??? and Turbos???
I am pretty sure that I NEVER had ANY of my motors BLOW as you so nicely put it, and I am sorry but what is the 1st time??
My OHV ate a spark plug and ran fine after that but I got rid of it.
My LD9 had some blow by but it still ran and I took it out.
My built LD9, I got tired of it (outdated technology) sold it!
My Ecotec never blew, I built it, is there something wrong with that??
My Turbo is still the one and only one that I got from Brian Exploited like over 2 years ago, I ran it without air filter for like a year total cause I couldn't fit an air filter on it with my LD9 set up, I surged it many times, it sat for 3-4 months, it has gave me 20+ psi, and I am suppose to be MAD that this Turbo gave up?
Today I reved the motor and it was still spinning even on idle unlike some other Turbos I have seen, and boosting.
It is starting to shave the compressor housing or should I say it has and now it is at the point of NO return, I am not gonna sacrifice my motor due to one of the propeler blade falling off and getting sucked in.
That is the reason I took it off
Do it right the 1st time?? Right? 11.90's is the 1st time.
If I do decide to do it the second time IT WILL BE 10.50's and then you can eat your little heart out.
I am a failure, nice we both share that opinion.

Jasmin, don't give up on it.... get a beater and take this car off the road.. Trust me. Not driving around your fast car makes you miss it ever day and renews the dedication. I was ready to sell my sunird a month ago but driving around my slow TDI golf has made me start ripping apart at the bird again to try and dip it into 10s.
It's only a money pit if you don't feel that it's worth it.

I wouldn't look at it as a failure. You were an inspiration to me and I am sure many others. I always loved to show the non believers out there your times to prove what a J could really do.

Hey i just blew my brand new turbo after having my car running for a couple days with its newly built motor. Am i pissed hell yeah. Am i gonna give up hell no. after going 8 months without boost it was eating me alive. dont give up because something like this its not worth it. i want to see 10.50s and i want to be there next to you not have you sitting on the sidelines thinkin that could be me.
