Hi guys im new to the site and i have just recently fried my motor i drive a 90 cavalier z24, and was curious if i could just swap the motor out to a turbo 3.1 "tgp", and yes i would tune the car, o and my cars a 5 speed. Thanks Randy
if you use the TGP ecm, you don't have to tune the engine.
Also, ask in the 2nd Gen forum. Most 2nd gen owner stay in there.

It will work, but a lot of the exhaust will not fit without modifying the tranny mount, etc. Check the V6 forums, yeah or go to
http://www.v6z24.com and do a search. We talked about the swap a lot.
