The car was at the bash. With the different compression and stroke of the bigger 2.2 engine, he's only reaching 7psi. However, I'm here to tell ya...it pulls NICE. Eco guys will NOT be let down by the GM Charger. I rode in it at the bash...the whine is sooooo fun. Very loud....I asked Jon "Which do you like better, BOV or S/C whine?"
"I can't decide between the two. They're both really fun"
Nothing better than a supercharger whine!!!!

i was under the impression that the size of the blower pulley determined the boost level not the engine. can anyone clarify this for me???
well, it runs 12 psi on a 2.0L engine. The smaller engine it creates more pressure, however it's flowing the same amount of air. (CFM) CFM is all that matters. 6 psi from a tiny s/c or turbo, is not the same as 6psi from a real big s/c or turbo. it's all about how much cfm you're pushing. CFM = air volume. Hope that makes sense. It's not entirely accurate, but it should guide you into the right viewpoint

More displacemtent = able to intake more air. Boost is only a measure of air pressure beyond what the motor can take in naturally aspirated. If the blower is spinning the same speed on both motors it is pushing out the same amount of air but the bigger motor can take in more air resulting in less boost pressure.

Hence why it would only take say the 2.4 6-8psi to run roughly the same times as a 2.0 at 12psi

pretty sure its due to the destroke they use.
2.0l = 12psi
2.4l = 6-8 psi
