i just got my t3 wet float bearing turbo for my 2.4 engine. only im not sure which one is the oil inlet and which one is the oil outlet. one has a threaded whole and the ohter just has a big open hole.
just out of thin air. what keeps it going the other way?

You want the drain to be bigger than the feed so that the oil can drain out quickly, otherwise oil will build up in the bearings and hot oil is less lubricative (if thats even a word). It has less viscosity than cooler oil and breaks down at high temps. You want to get oil in the turbo and out as quickly as possible to help cool the center section and lubricate the bearings.
