GM s/c reflash with 6-8 turbo psi
Thursday, March 23, 2006 6:50 AM
Hi, I will put my custom turbo kit on my manual 2001 2.4L cavalier in like a month. I have a t3(TURBINE .48, COMPRESSOR .42), FMIC, 310cc injectors.

I will run the 00-02 s/c reflash with a 2.5" exhaust.

I was wondering what HP I should expect with 4, 6 and 8 psi?

Anyone running those boost with the reflash? How much HP?

Just to get an idea of the power i'll get!!!

Thanks!

for sure, make sure if you use the S/c reflash you use a rrfpr to richer up a little bit, AFR might be too lean with no additional fuel, I've ruined an engine because of it

HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED

Do I need another FPR than the stock one when I install a FMU ?

Just to clarify: FMU = RRFPR ? Right?

Larger turbo, 320cc injectors, 2.5" exhaust, GM Reflash, AFPR......... 6/7psi = mid 13's...... 15psi = high 12's......

BUT different car, different turbo/kit, different drivers......

SPD RCR Z - '02 Z24 420whp
SLO GOAT - '04 GTO 305whp
W41 BOI - '78 Buick Opel Isuzu W41 Swap

I will tell you now the GM s/c'er stuff is not even CLOSE to being adiquite for a turbo... granted my set up is a bit different .. but my GM reflash with the 310cc injectors only go up to 5-6psi of boost with the turbo+supercharger.... after that i can tell they are maxed right out.... im personaly going with 440cc injectors right now... car is in the shop getting the stock computer tuned right now so i will let you guys know when its done how it is... but yes 310cc injectors max out at 220-230whp.... 8psi on a turbo either pushing the injectors to %90+ duty/cycle (BAD THING) or over that...

The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
