Have you seen this IC piping kit?

First of all does anybody know if this is a cheap(as in quality) kit?

Secondly it says its a universal kit kit for the cavalier, how can that be since we have the 2.2,2200,2.4, and the 2.2 eco? Wouldn't the pipes be different for each engine?

Just looking for input here..

Thanks.

its a universal kit. it comes with a bunch of bends and connectors and clamps. i think thats actually the kit i have sitting on my floor next to me. everything seems pretty good quality to me. the only thing i would do is swap out the clamps that come with the kit for some t-bolt clamps like everyone recommends.

Thanks man, yeah I was wondering about those clamps. I couldn't tell from the picture if they were T-bolt or not.. Hmm I may have to give this kit a try..

expect alot of cutting , and using alot of the silicone couplers

the main idea to me is to use a few of the couplers as possible , this cuts down on boost leaks

like everyone said, dont expect a direct fit. i got one of those kits. you will need to cut your parts and fit it. i tig welded mine to reduce the coupler count. the whole "cavalier intercooler kit" was just to lure you in. the piping is standard quality same as just about any piping kit. the couplers and clamps arent to bad either

You cannot make a complete cavalier ic piping kit with those pipes. I have tried and the 45 degree bends are pointless. Save your self the money and buy some U-bends. I purchased 6 for $96 shipped and I completed my downpipe and full intercooler setup.
