So I've realized lately that now i'm only averaging 16-17 mpg. I used to get about 20-22 mpg, this is city driving btw (my car has always averaged about 20-22, and thats with and without the supercharger). the only difference that this has occured over has been over the addition of my header, high flow cat, and full exhaust, which was done at the end of december. its only 2 1/4 though, conservative. Could i be losing about 5 mpg just cuz of the new exhaust? i have no codes and use premium.

My mileage actually improved with the addition of the catback, on the highway that is. In the city it got worse, but likely due to my change in driving style.

You could be losing mileage simply due to the weather. Especially in city driving. Until the engine heats up, the oil is thicker among other things and efficiency is out the window. If you have an oil pressure gauge, you can see how much of a difference the temperature makes.
An exhaust should actually help your mileage since the engine doesn't have to work as hard to push out the exhaust gases.
I track my mileage religiously and am putting a full exhaust in next week. It will be interesting to see what effect it has.
i found when i got my zaust in my mileage in town dropped abit too. till i stopped gettin on it to hear the zaust growl!!!

stock FPR messing up is a definate reality. highly doubtfull though.

It could may very well be your driving.
Being that the mods you did pushed your power curve upwards, I am willing to bet that you are pressing the pedal more to achieve the low-end performance of before.
What header did you put in?
