Here is my 20012.4L custom turbo part list:

- T3 Turbo
- 35mm Wastegate
- RFL BOV
- Ebay Turbo Manifold(not exploited)
- 28x6.5x3 Intercooler with 2.5" piping
- Custom Dowpipe and 2.5" Exhaust
- Ford red top Injectors(30lb, high impedance)
- 2 bar MAP sensor
- GM 00-02 s/c reflash
- NGK TR6 spark plugs
- Autometer Boost gauge

Will hit 8 psi MAX.

I'm also looking at a inline fuel pump.

Any suggestions?

I think you might not even need the inline. What are the specs on your turbo?

You can get one for insurance. I'm also interested in the specs on the turbo. What brand turbo is it? Where are you purchasing it from?

The RFL Blow off valves have a reputation for leaking so you might want to consider another one...of course this isn't saying that it will defenitley give you problems.

What wideband are you going to get?

What brand wastegate are you getting?

Make sure that the manifold that you get is setup to fit an external wastegate.

Make sure you get the clips for the Ford Injectors.

What are you doing about fuel management?

Are you planning on getting some type of coating for the manifold?

You also need oil lines and fittings. I would talk to Aaron @ Turbo Tech Racing about the necessary parts you need for that. aaron@turbotechracing.com

You might need some Couplers and T-Bolt Clamps...you'll atleast need a transition coupler for the outlet of the turbo to connect to your intercooler piping. You can get these parts at www.atpturbo.com.

If you have any questions just ask.

You guys will not be proud of me. I bought a XS power(SSautochrome) turbo, RFL BOV and wastegate. I know it is cheap but I will run those for this summer and probably upgrade with a bigger and better turbo and BOV next summer.

The turbo is .48 turbine and .42 compressor.

I will not get any wideband because I do the s/c reflash and I won't be tuning.

No coating for manifold but 35mm external wastegate flange welded on it.

I don't think I need any fuel management because of the s/c reflash. The only fuel upgrade is 30lb injectors. There's the part where i'm comfused.... Will I need a FMU even if I do the s/c reflash? I know the ECU can't change the fuel pressure but do I really need to rise the fuel pressure with this setup? If you look at the GM 00-02 s/c kit, there is no FMU.

I will probably get a oil feed and return kit and intercooler piping from ebay too.

Thanks for the help!

You mind me asking how much you paid for that turbo? As far as the blow off valve if you wanted you could find a way to seal it better but if you were to switch later on or something you might not be able to sell it. For the ebay manifold they are good manifolds but I think if you don't atleast put a can of thermal paint on it you could have some rusting problems from what I hear.

if you know what your doing your going to be fine with the SS turbo. check for cracks along the seem where it might of been glued. if there arent any and the peice looks solid and theres only one peice then your fine.

Yes it is the one piece housing turbo. I paid 340$ US shipped to Canada for the turbo, wastegate and bov.

I'll put thermal paint on the manifold. Thanks!

It will be my first turbo install but I've been reading and learning since a year or so and I also have some friends that will help me!

Anybody run the s/c reflash with a turbo???? Do you use a FMU to rise the fuel pressure??

Thanks!

The wideband isn't just for tuning but for monitoring. You want to know how your car is running. Say the reflash isn't enough and you're sitting there giving it full throttle while you're running lean...not a good thing. I would still invest in it if I were you.

I still say you will need some type of fuel management whether it's an FMU or anything else. Talk to the 2.4 guys who are boosted and get their opinions.

Usually you want to lower the fuel pressure when you install bigger injectors, so the fuel pressure "riser" can also be used to turn down the fuel pressure.
