Eco turbo idle psi and stall problems

I was wondering what psi some of you boosted eco's are at when at idle? Should the idle be the same as it was for the stock psi with the stock FPR like around 58 psi? I was just wondering because i hear alot about stalling problems with people with ecotecs that are boosted and just curious what i might be expecting with my turbo install coming up soon. All help is greatly appreciated.

Ummm you shouldn't see any boost at idle?

your idle psi deopends on injector size... I idle at 36 psi...

stock idle is only 45 psi... well mine was..

but yeah depending on injector size si the biggest factor

im running on straight fuel pressure tuning so i run like 22psi at idle and 42lb injector are in place of stock. At 4 in/hg it bumps to 33psi then rate of gain is unknown for now. But it really depends on injector size

i run extremely rich at idle before the car warms up.

I idle at 15-20PSI on 40# injectors. On the 32# I idled at 30PSI

I just wanted to see a broad range of what i will have to set my FMU for at idle without having any problems. Im going to be running the Accel 335 cc (32 lbs) injectors from Hahn so im guessing my idle pressure would be around somewhere like 22 to 30 psi range. I also wanted to know when im running my vacuum lines, does it matter how long they are? Because id like to keep them all hidden and ran along the sides of the engine bay. Thanks guys

You are going to want to keep the lines as short as possible. You can still keep it clean and sanitary while being efficient man. Just gonna take a little added work.

I still think that using an FMU as a base pressure modifier and not the way it was deisgned is assanine, just get the AFPR and sue the fmu it's supposed to but whatever, not my car..

secondly 22-30 psi on 32# injectors is way too low

All im doing is using the same thing that Hahn is using for the stage 2 kit. The only thing that is different in my setup is the intercooler piping, intercooler, and bov. What else would everyone recommend besides MS becasue im stumped then.

I kniow.. I just think the cartech was deisgned for atmospheric and boost pressure to cure certain base model fmu problems. it works, but I think its better to use i the way it was designed and spend the extra 60 bucks for the accle fpr
