Was there a difference between the 04 and 05? and why was I told that the eco supercharger wasn't for the 05? I thought they were the same.

I have an 05, and my dealership is saying that might be an issue, since the kit is listed for the 03, and 04 only.

My thought is, since the Cobalt was released in 05, that the 05 Cavalier seems not to exist. Let me explain, My friend has 94 Z-24, and when he looks for parts, especially performance parts, most - all listing only go to 1993. Then seem to jump to the third gen cavs. When you look for parts for the 05 cavalier most listing go to 04.

That is my thought.

However, I have been talking to a dealership closer to where I work, and they don't seem to have a problem putting it on my car. I hope that doesn't change before I have all the cash.
My suggestion is to check with other dealerships, Do you really think they would have changed something significant, knowing the Cobalt was being released.
