Just thought some of the 2200 guys would like to see these pics--maybe it'll help someone out. I searched a lot for info on this and came up relatively "short."
Any upgrade-worthy injector requires the plug that I used here. The stock ones just don't fit in with most/all injectors on the market. There's also some comparison shots of the OEM injectors (GARBAGE!) and the new ones:
The Pictures in Question are in the Bottom Row(s)
If anyone wants to host these shots, please feel free. Thanks for looking, guys.
?? Huh, i used the MSD injectors and they were exactly identacle wiring clip and all, just like the RC ones too i think. What type did you use?
These injectors are out of a '96 Grand Prix GT. Rating on them should be around 28lbs. Every single injector I found (the Fords, Accels, Saabs, etc) used the plug that I converted to. Can't remember it's name off the top of my head.
^^^ Correct. But also the 3800's, 3100's, Saab's...and I'm sure the list could go on and on.
thats funny cause I pulled those clips off of a 2200. (the ones you converted to)
I'm pretty sure the injector plugs on my spare engine are the same as the ones I took off, too. Are you sure they were OEM?
I pulled it from the wrecker.
perhaps the newer models have the skinny style injector..
