There are alot of people with the 2.4s who go with the Brown Tops.

Here are some other threads with more information:

well NJHK........ your right ...... ford brown tops #36 injectors........

but what NJHK didn't tell you is that you will need SAFC-2 and an AFPR to back off those injectors enough at idle.......

Anything else just ask....

Yup, we can suggest injectors because we are psychic with what your going to be doing with your engine, what turbo you have, intercooled or not intercooled. Honestly if you read the FAQ's at the top of the forum, you would NOT be asking this. The stock injector sizes are listed in the New boost faq, and there is also an injector sizing section, RIGHT IN THE FIRST POST of that FAQ.

well thanks to the first 2 people who gave me some info. yes i plan on using an intercooler, and a t3 turbo. why do they even have a place to make threads and ask questions if everything is in the FAQ's sorry i didnt see it the first time, ill look again, asking questions is the free part, thats why i do it.

alright, thanks guys.... you know i think it be funny if one of you guy went to lets say best buy and wanted a computer and you ask the guy working there a question about it and he was like look at the manuel you idiot, although people on here could read the FAQs (cuz that is why they are there) you dont have to flame everyone of em just because they ask a simple question that they think someone might know, you instead of typeing all that crap you guys wrote about the FAQs, you could have saved a @!#$ load of time and just said... 252cc... that one thing would have been enough for me

any one ever thought of putting 2 sets of 320cc injectors ? the stock computer can handle that. my friends honda has second sit in manifold . but i think his computer handles diff size injectors. just a thought never delt with a chevy

get two sets of 320 injectors. mount the second set to the manifold with what ever is needed fuel rail ect... he uses no type of stand alone fuel system.. just stock computer and he is packing about 323 whp .. its been a while since i seen him and didnt really pay attention to that i was having to much fun whooping his a$$ in my dads stroker.

well it doesn't help that we have a plastic manifold, as well...... adding a complete second fuel rail would make you awfully rich, especially with 310cc injectors, which on there own will produce enough fuel for around 8psi nicely......................

the 2.3 Ho manifold. and im not talking about low boost im talking for a built motor able to handle at least 15- 20 psi .... running two sets of 320 with the stock fuel system ...
Re: injectors

What? You try to get it to idle with 2 sets of 320cc injectors with stock fuel system. Wont happen period. You need a controller to control the extra injectors....its called port-fueling. Some are doing it, arguably is one of the best fuel systems avalible to our cars, but they are extremely expensive...soo...not too many go that route. I personally think megasquirt has everything to offer that we need, and it isnt too bad of an install. I havent done it personally but....i dont see it being difficult. Now that the hp tuning software will be availible, no1 should be doing any other method other than that if u are a 97-up of course. Which I am a 96 so...I will be doing megasquirt.
