will this reflash and map sensor allow my ecu to adjust fuel per pound of boost? or is thisonly adding a set amount of fuel for the boost limitations of the kit as a whole?

thanks...

and if I choose to get this can I just walk into a dealer and have them reflash and can I purchase the map sensor?

the map sensor will need to be modified to work

the wiring is different

the 2.4 guys have had decent luck with the s/c program and use of a turbo

You need the map sensor and i think iat sensor from the charger kit. Also there is few other small things.

It will adjust fuel and ignition timing based on manifold pressure from vacuum to 14.7 psi.

actuallly i think the map for the s/c is a 3 bar , not a 2 bar

i know the cobalt's and ion's have been running 18psi and it reads that on the factory gauge , which gets its siginal from that map sensor

connector to map sensor.........cause its a 4 wire and you have a 3 wire., You also need to find a way to attach the sensor. as on the supercharged manifold it doesnt have a vacuum nub so you need to make an adapter. i was @ 97cavie24ls(JDM&00s/c sedans™) house lookin @ the one he has and it wont plug in like ours do. there is a hole in the manifold the senosr has to sit in and the sensor has an o-ring on the sensor.

so to make it wourk you would need to get an adatper you would have to make.
get a square drill a hold all the way threw. put the map sonsor on one end and then tap the other for a vacuum fitting and then you can run a vaccum line to it. but im not sure exactly how well it will work.

So thats my theory!

Dont know how well it would work or how accurate.

im ready for this now id ditch the fmu in a heartbeat and love to not worry about tuning. My injectors will be a bit larger but hopefully this will be a common swap soon.
