Ecotec oil pan gasket(sealant)

I went to order a gasket for the oil pan for my ecotec so when i do my tapping fot hte oil return on the turbo but the description just says it is a sealant. Can i just use an RTV sealant or is there an actual gasket to replace.

its just RTV.

yea you can use rtv or you can go to the dealer and ask for gms sealent

Use permatex Ultra black or ultra grey RTV, I personally prefer grey, it seals really good and never leaks.
