I think im missing a piece to connect my Cartech FMU to my fuel rail. I know i need to take off the stock FPR and replace it with the FMU but i think im missing the part that attaches to the fitting at the end of the FMU fuel line and bolts to the fuel rail where the torx bolt is. Am i correct because how would this line stay in place without being bolted down. The end is open and has a rubber o ring but not hole to bolt to the fuel rail.Heres a pic of what i have. Can i order this part from Hahn or cartech if i need it?
IM pretty sure im missing the piece shown in this picture here. Its the shiny piece right as soon as you come off the fuel rail by the FMU. Who do you think would sell this piece, HAHN or CARTECH?
idk that looks like it was found.. no one I know would make a piece for that but hahn is your best bet, usually putting an fmu in includes splicing into your existing lines

its a custom made Hahn part. Tell them you didn't get it.

I took my fpr out and tapped the hole and used brass fittings and it worked fine up to 170psi in the rail when i was tard with a fmu and inline pump/stock injectors. That didnt last long tho. Now i have 42lb injectors and cartech

i did it a much easier way.
Well, I have an 02 rail so mine is slitly different.
I removed the stock return fuel line and cut the plastic/rubber hose off.
Then took one of the stock "clip on" ends from that and clamped a hose to it running to the fmu "IN".
Then I took the other stock "clip on" end and clamped a hose to it, then attatched it to the FMU "OUT"
Then just clip both ends in the car and your done.
If you ever have to remove it just disconnect the ends and stick it on without the FMU.
I guess its not easier initially, just easier if you ever have to go to stock for some reason.
03 guys do have it easier than the 02's also

lol slitly
I was not paying attention to my typing. Should have read slightly
"Growing old is mandatory. Growing up? Definitely optional."
I think im just going to call hahn and order it. Much easier than the headache of working with fule lines and stuff.
why did you remove the stock fpr? it looks gone in the picture.
...from Begi...."The rising rate regulators fit into the fuel system after the stock regulator, and in series with it. They become the last item before the fuel returns to the tank.
Do not remove the stock regulator , as it still controls the fuel flow under most manifold vacuum conditions"[
The hahn kit replaces the stck FRR with the BEGi rising regulator.
did you read the instructions? ....it says do not remove stock fpr.
Yes you must remove the stock FRP. Trust me
For the Hahn kit you remove the stock FPR. Otherwise we would be stuck at a 50 or so idle pressure.

Mine right now is at 58 psi at all times.
Ok i ordered, the ecotec hold clamp, and ecotec FPR brakcet. Sound about right. Ohh yea, and the nut to hold it down.
Ok i just got he part and im pretty sure this is the missing link to my fuel setup that holds the fuel line in the fuel rail. Am i correct?
thats the key piece. what did that and the bracket run you?

The aluminum piece and the bolt cost like 21 bucks. Not too bad considering its a custom built piece
