Hmm... I'm looking for a good place to get them too... as far as WestCoast-Turbo.com goes, I'm not too turned on by "rebuilt" turbos... The Super 60 I want on there is only $389 while other places have it for like $500-$600. It just seems that having a rebuilt turbo might not be the best idea ever for longevity and reliability. Can anyone vouch for them?

it all depends on how good of a rebuild, if its all new parts put in it, there shouldnt be a problem, lots of peeps seem to like rebuilt turbos

Mine was a rebuild Direct from Garrett.......... every piece was new except the exhaust housing............ my hot side oil seal blew...... so this is how I know that the stuff was new....
(I rebuilt it with a licensed mechanic)...................


rebuilds are fine ...... just not xs power or anything of that cheap nature..... hell there are X amount of people running only 300zx t3 turbos with no problem................ it's all in how you treat it too.........

Westcoast is great when they're not busy. They're still trying to catch up on their blow out sale they did this past December. I would recommend down2turbo on eBay. He can get you anything you want without risk of getting a crappy Chinese turbocharger.

I just bought a T3/T04E from down2turbo for about $30 less than Westcoast. Here are the specs:

T3/T04E
57 trim
.50 a/r compressor housing
.48 turbine housing
stage I T3 turbine wheel
360 degree thrust bearing

Mind you, Westcoast doesn't sell turbochargers with a 360 bearing without you having to ask for it. Even so, the bearing normally costs between $100-$130!! So overall, I paid about $160 less going through down2turbo.
