ive been reading posts on here, and im getting mixed reactions, some are having great success and some are having trouble all to hell!!
now im going to be running a 7 psi internal gated turbo, cartech 2025 FMU, afpr, and a zeitronix wideband02
obviously i wanna have a smooth idle and not have to worry bout stalling out and such, anyone have some insight on getting these? the good the bad?
any help here is definatly appreciated, if its gonna be a ongoin battle to have them work correctly, then please give me reasons and so on, thanks
judgin by the end of ur post there, theyre a hit and miss with the 2.4L?
like i said id obviously prefer to hit it rite on the first time around
jus to be sure, wanted to ad, at 7 psi with a cartech FMU and a wideband, are injectors and a afpr a MUST? or can it be done and tuned reliably without them, jus a question, ill do wut needs to be done, but jus like others if it can be done without them, ill do it without them!
dont do it without them. You would be running a risk of the injectors clipping. And u need an afpr, and injectors to have a reliable 7psi.
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
the new plan is to use ford brown tops, s-afc, afpr, cartech fmu, blazer 188lph fuel pump, zeitronix zt-2 wideband02
should be able to tune somethign pretty
I've got the Ford brown tops and my idle is fine. As for the s-afc that I have , I just used it to finely tune the idle a little better, but even before the s-afc, it idled fine. But as for the 2.4L guys and low imp. inj.'s, I'm not sure how they take to them. I havn't had any problems with idling because I have the 2.3L.
