Hi, i'm going turbo on my 2001 cavalier 2.4. I will run 5-6 psi on stock internals, I will put Bosch Ford Red Tops Injectors and was wondering what should I do with the MAP sensor????
Can I do the supercharge reflash and put the same MAP sensor that comes with the kit (2 or 3 bar MAP sensor)???
Is there other way of running this 5-6 psi without the reflash?
The question is: What do I need to run 5-6 psi with bigger injectors?
Thanks!
actually ...... all you need to run larger injectors...... is of course .....
an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.....................
so that when your car is idling ...... the AFPR backs off the injectors ............ get an FMU and get a dyno tune .... and your good to go ..........
it also might be wise to spend the extra 350 on a wideband o2 gauge so that you know whats going on with your car at all times.....................
you can get the reflash if you'd like ........................but thats money you probably don't need to spend................
getting a wideband is KEY though............ it's cheaper then replacing your motor..............

^^ x 2. i doubted it at first, but i have seen some impressive results on the S/C reflash.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
Is it ok if I use BOSH Ford red top injectors(they are 30lb/h but don't know how to make the conversion in cc) ???
What about the MAP sensor. I know it is the 2 bar map sensor I need but can someone tell me wich part # is it and I guess its a GM.
If I don't make the reflash, will I also need to replace the map sensor with the 2 bar???
Finaly, how much is the s/c reflash? Is there a way to buy it and do it yourself?
Thanks for your help!
