I was hoping someone could help me out with a couple of part numbers that I'm looking for. I did a search, but all that came up was the numbers for the ecotect supercharger.
I'm looking for the bracket for the cruise control module on the firewall, and the cruise control cable that is supplied with the kit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think you need the cruise cable unless you've got a Grand Am. I think the j-body install uses the stock cable.
i didn't use my cruise bracket if you want i'll sell ya mine
i used the bracket and cable from the kit , worked nicely on my cav
but if you dont have them its alot cheaper to just cut the stock bracket to allow you to flip the cruise 180 degrees in the bracket
itll save you money and time , i got lucky i found some one selling them
88960480 Bracket, Cruise Control Relocation
03530297 Nut, Cruise Control Bracket
As for the cable I've yet to find that part # myself, I'm still using the stock one as of now.
Hmmmmmmmm... I was wondering about the cable. Installed the kit on my friends Z and neither of the cables worked.
Guess I'll just wait to see if the stocker works or not.
This is actually for the 2.3 mani. I'm determined to keep my cruise. 24ls, what do you mean by flip the stock bracket? I have two studs sticking out of the firewall......?

you dont flip the bracket , you flip the cruise module
pull the cruise and bracket off , and pull the module out and rotate it 180 degrees , and you will see what i mean about cutting it , its not alot either
that is how i had my 97 when i had the HO intake on it , and the cruise worked
here is the best pic ive got for the cruise bracket and cable installed
DEATH TO THE FORD BLUE IDI COVER! God I hate that thing, so lucky I don't live in AZ

you just mad , cause you know youll loose to me
and mine looks better than yours
Awesome. For some reason I thought the holes for the cc module were staggered and flipping it won't work. What about fastening the tb to the manifold? Did you use the 2.4 tb or the HO? I have a 52 at the machine shop currently being bored and receiving a 56 mm plate (plenty of 2.3 tb's around, and didn't really want to go bigger than 56). The holes on the intake manifold appear to line up, so I should be able to bolt it up, but I'm worried about only having 2 bolts in place.
And my IDI cover has both of yours beat.

you dont flip the bracket
you flip the module
hence the cutting necessary
Ah. See that's why I want to get the bracket that comes with the charger. IIRC, it moves the module over and points it in the proper direction.

Will you use that sense slapper on yourself? What would I cut then? You had me convinced I didn't need the bracket, then you come in here talking about cutting @!#$. Kindly pull your head out of your ass, or make up your mind.

ok listen up , and pay attention
pull the cable off the module , then pull the module out
then take the stock bracet off the fire wall
now reinsert the module in the bracet , BUT PUT IT IN 180 DEGREES FROM THE STOCK POSITION
now you will see where the bracket needs to get cut for the cable to get into the module
trim bracket as necessary so cable fits
reinstall the bracket to the fire wall , put the module back in and put the cable back in
now is that slow enough for you ???
if you read the post you made above the 1 of mine you quoted , you talk about fliping the bracket and you DONT flip the bracket
pay attention PLEASE , remember im trying to save YOU money
so put the beer down
lol
Now see, there's the problem. I didn't know the module was in a bracket. I thought it was just one piece. Thanks chief.

lol, you guys
As far as I can tell, the cable in the kit is the same length as the J-body cable. Heck, it might even BE the J-body cable. But it's for the cruise control module, not the throttle cable... and it's only needed on the N-body. I threw mine away.
ah , i see now
module is in a bracket
lol @ john , the new cable is longer i forgot how much longer , but it wasnt like mles longer
