Who has what and what that brand look like (ie. round gauge, little box).
Post price, and wether it replaces 02 for a straight bolt on, or if a bung has to be welded in.
I'm prefer one that could fit in my autometer gauge pod, but i don't think autometer makes one(couldn't find it on their website). However, doesn't bother me to have a little box one. BUT.. want a complete kit.

Ive had both innovate lm-1 controller with lc-1 guage and now currently have the Aem 6in1 gauge. Both require a bund welded in. For data loggin i would say the innovate is good but for ease of install i would choose aem. AMS uses only aem widebands due to its ease of install and operation. The innovate is a pain in the a$$ you need to "free air calibrate" it every so often when the aem calibrates at start up every time. The innovate is an 8 wire hook up and the aem gauge is a 2 wire hook up without any data loggin or serial outputs. Power ground and your good to go. Innovate is around 300 and i got my aem one off ebay for 266. Good Luck hope this helps

After reading that....... I'm going witht he AEM wideband UEGO................. Just because you don't need to "free air Calibrate"............................ I assume that the o2 sensor has to go fairly close to the turbo so that would be such a bitch to get to whenever you have to calibrate it !!!!!!! AEM IT IS !!!

I am a big fan of the Zeitronix wideband. It's more bulky, but you can datalog LOTS of variables with it.

X2. I use Zietronix on my DSM, and a few of us in the VR4 club run them too. Good product to have, and they're not overly expensive.

So just do it in the morning before starting the car every once in a while, and it's not a PITA at all. In case you couldn't guess, I have the Innovate Motorsports one, and will be looking into the guage, I have the handheld unit for now.

my bro is picking up a PLX wideband set up for his DSM. it has a guage and hooks into his DSM link engine management system.
I will report back on how he likes it. i might even hook it up to my car for a weekend. not sure.

We've used the Zeitronix on 2 of our setups that I have worked with myself, and love it. Installation is pretty straight forward as well.

Its not a pain in the ass but why would you want to do more work than you have to? calibrate in the morning vs. calibrate on startup automatically every time

Ive had both i know the ups and downs. For datalogging the innovate is nice especially if you buy their adapter that monitors like 6 inputs i think and thats pretty nice tuning tool.
And Lee you are welcome i had lost the money already on this one and payed 300 shipped for the innovate and i sold it for 250 and bought the aem one for 266 so my loss is your gain. I personally would chose the plx 500 i think it is probably the best for monitoring your system. Takes care of wideband (300) egt (125) and virtually all dataloggin (innovates tool like 350) so its worth it if you plan on getting the above mentioned. It looks pretty sweet to and its all windows based so its cake to work. I think ill get one for my next project. 94 hatch with type r motor and type r trans with boost of course.

I like this AEM setup. Seems easy to install and i'm not looking to do datalogging or anything like that. However, its says you can switch between AFR and Lambda readouts..whats Lambda?

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
Ok so today i swapped my aem wideband into my car after ditching the innovate lm-1 lc-1 combo. When my innovate was in it read 11.7 as my a/f most of the time. Now today i used the aem wideband 6 in 1 and my a/f ratios on the same settings as in fuel pressures was dead rich 10:1 most of the time. So i turned down the fuel pressures, adjusted onset fuel pressures. tuned it to 12.3 and it feel much quicker i noticed a large gain in power. The old tune pulled 206hp and 229 ft/lb so im sure i could achieve more power as in 215-225. So i may go back to ams and get another three runs in.

I use the dynojet wideband commander. Lots of cool features like afr based window switches, warning lights, 0-5v output, native or pc logging, rpm and throttle and MAP inputs........ Very nice unit for what i paid which was like $350 from ebay.

SO what your telling me then, is that the AEM seems to be much more accurate............
if thats the case.... I suggest EVERYONE to dump the LM1..............
because running 10.0.. is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too rich ......... thats the point I'd be watching out for spinning a bearing ..............(oil and gas don't mix well together)
and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 12.3 ........................ must have haulled ass.................... 12.3 is MINT.........

12.3 is not MINT, especially for WOT. 11.5 is "MINT" for WOT. 12.3 is good for idle and partial throttle.

i think my post was more about the wideband differences i saw but yeah 12:3 is not mint but it was running real nice. Better than the other tune i had before. Making more power. Glad i went aem.
