I was in an accident where both the airbags blew. I got both bags and the airbag sensor from the same car. I still have the air bag light staying on steady. Just wondering what I have to do to be able to get the light to turn off and for the bags to work properly. Thanks in advance, thanks...

you have to go to GM to have them reset the computer (it may be possible without the genesis or whatever it is they use but i dont know of a way)
does anyone know how to reset the computer without going to GM??
you could just remove your dash and put tape on the back side of your panel that way the light wont be on...other than that i'd love to know a way to turn the light off (i personally did the second as i have an airbag removed and i always get false CEL's from my fan override) both are now blacked out...
Figured it out today. I didn't realize there was a senser on the front of the car. pulled one from a yard. Works now. thanks for the help!
pulled one from a yard? what do i do if i have a Tenzo steering wheel (w/no air bag, obviously)? there anything I can do to keep the light from comin on?

Do a search for "Aftermarket Steering wheel/ Airbag"
I asked that question before so I know its out there!
