Hey all I recently installed my new system with a new headunit and I installed it using this guide,
http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~umyunj/deckinstall/ . I used the add-a-circuit fuse tap in the windshield wiper fuse and put a 5A fuse in the add-a-circuit like the guide suggests, now my wipers dont work, though the HU runs fine. It started raining today so I put the fuse tap in the cruise control fuse spot and replaced the windshield wiper fuse so now the wipers work and the CC doesn't. Any idea what the prob could be?
My guess is that the add-a-fuse thingy is keeping the wiper fuse blade from the contacts..
Its pretty tight in there- jamming 2 prongs in there usually farks it up.
Whats the fuse tap for..? A remote wire?

it's obviously a problem with your fuse tap. i suggest you re-do the connections on it.
here's how i did mine....

The add-a-circuit I used is this
something is wrong with it if every fuse you put it to doesn't work. buy a new one or make your own.

I just wrap the end of the wire around one of the posts and be done with it. Quick and easy.

did you make sure two put both fuses in the slots if there's two slots? also, the wipers need a 25A fuse.
