maybe this isnt the greatest place to ask, but is there any way to fit 6 1/2 in the front of a caddy brougham? my friend wants to put a small set up in his car and i'm selling the sunfire. right now i have pioneer 6x9 in my rear and 6 1/2 coaxials in front. i plan on buying a rav 4(newer models.. 2001+) and 2 sets of 6 1/2 component speakers in the doors(front and back) so i cant really use what i have. i figured for his birthday i'd give him my speakers. i know the 6x9 will drop in perfect in his rear, but crutchfield says 4 inch in the front. he doesnt want me cutting into anything or anyuthiong visable as he's trying to preserve the classic look of the car. is it possible to fit the 6 1/2 coaxials in there?
also, does the rav 4 have spots for the tweeters the components bring or will i have to custom that?
you could go with kickpanels or in the door

i've never actually seen his car, so i dunno if it has speaker grilles in the door. he doesnt want anything visable so kickpanels wouldnt work.
stock it has 4x6's in the dash

yea, i know. i just wanted to know if i could make a bracket for some 6 1/2's while still being able to tuck it under the grille(remember, nothing visable)
i dunno...i would guess it wouldn't be that easy to do it in the stock location. i would personally put em in the doors
