I no longer have my cavalier, i have a colorado now. I still post here more than coloradofans though because theres more members and more resources. I can get a great deal on ss midbass drivers through circuit city. Im considering the 8 inch ss midbass drivers. theres a couple of different variables. im planning on using my diamond m5 crossover, tweeter, and midbass also. The crossover is a 3 way with an out for rear channel. What i ultimately would like to do is get new door panels from someone and build a customer door enclosure for the 8's and tweeters and use the 5.25s from my cav in a adapter plate in the rear doors. I have no experience with the ss's. the local stores that carry kicker say theyre great but never have anything hooked up. I know my diamonds were very nice sounding. by the way they would be on a crossfire 50.4 but only running 2 channels, so 100 watts rms per channel. My question is does anyone have experience with these, and do you think i would be able to run my diamond crossovers and have it work right. i could always pick up some m6 midbass's but would like something different. Everyone gives me their opinion which is great but im looking for someone thats heard them or even has them. someones gotta have somethin for me. thanks guys

as long as they are crossed over properly and installed properly they should give you great midbass. one thing i wouldnt suggest is mounting the 5.25's in the rear, i'd suggest the 8's in the door as well as the 5.25 and tweet. or move the 5.25 into kickpods up front. dont put them behind you or the music is going to sound bad with your highs up fron your mids in back

i was going to run the 8's from the midbass output and the 5.25s on the rear fill out. unfortunately i cant run kick panels, my truck is stick. they also have 65. inch midbass drivers available.so worst comes to worst i can just get those and stick them in the stock location. i really wanted to do the 8's though
