I have 2 12" subs that I am going to put into my car......they are not high quality in any means. My question is....they require 2.75 cub. ft. for a ported enclosure per sub....which is huge....how much would be affected by me dropping that down to around 2.0 per sub??? I ahve been looking at some calculators on line about the box and post sizes, but what would be a good frequesncy to tune the subs to??? thanks for the help.

also which way would be best to face the subs...into the cabin or facing the rear? I have always faced mine to the rear but they have all been sealed boxes.

I'm sure it would help if you included the brand name of the subs.

sorry...they are Visonik model 12DV6W = 12" DVC 6ohm
