Using a sony M8800 and a PA 980 watt amp to push the 2 12"s

Thanks for looking, let me know what you think.

I'll post more pics when I do a more flush install.

Looks good. Is that a rip on the carpet on the top of the box? Or just a pic thing? Anyway, looks good!

Looks nice, too bad PA subs are horrible.

Doesn't look like a rip, looks more like they carpeted the box and then constructed it. Looks good though.

I like the setup, however, I'm not a fan of PA subs or Sony Xplode head units. To each his/her own though.

Looks nice, nice and simple and clean. I like it a lot. And how do you like that headunit? I was looking to buy that one awhile ago. never did though, just wondering how it is.

I really like my set up, the subs are fine and the headunit has got all the bells and whistles. The MP3 capability is great for me and my huge music collection. It also looks awesome at night and I got an awesome deal. The actual box for the subs is just the normal rectangular sealed set up. I did buy more carpeting from a huge fabric shop and a piece of mdf board, then I cut out holes for the subs and tried to cut it to shape around the inner side walls of the trunk, then glued the fabric to the board and attached it to the box. It keeps it in place better and looks pretty smooth unless you look real close around the edges. I plan on making an better one this summer for the real custom install look. Maybe I'll take pics of the process for everyone. I'm not going for the outrageously loud audio set up, I just like the fact that these subs really do sound decent. If you get a good deal on them, I say go for it!

Thanks

And oh yea, the little mark on the left sub in the picture, that was a tear from some @!#$ that was in my trunk. I freaked out when I saw the tiny tear, but I used some clear nail polish to hold it back together and it worked great!
