I just bought a Opti1232D subwoofer, and i am having a hard time deciding what to do with it. Im gonna build a box and all, but i dont want it just in a box in my trunk... i want something SPECTACULAR.

Anyways, i was thinking about making a box, with the sub facing up, and puting it where the rear deck is. Can i cut that all out (Metal and all) and just put the box where that was? How hard it is to remove the metal there if it is possible at all...

or, what would you guys do with one 12 inch sub? I am actually shooting for best sound over looks. I have both amps in the spare tire spot (they arent matching, so i figured out of sight is probably for the best (less likely theft too)...

ummmmmm...ya might shatter the glass.....maybe...but your pushing the sub and its hitting air....but too much of it.....the whole cablin to be exact......use and sealerd or poted box in the trunk

man im not picturing nice things of ur trunk set up lol...

do what I'm doing. Take out the seat back and build a new one...with a sub box built into it. Hells yeah.
