my car is a 97 Pontiac sunfire with the 2.2 auto in it. If that really matters.
Here goes. I got out of work on Saturday night and started my car. Yea well you know how your dash lights light up and then go away. Well two lights didn't go out. Ebrake and one other. At first I didn't think anything of it and I turned the car off. I restarted it and more lights came on. I turned on my headlights and Every light came on and my DRL light started blinking. I then decided to bring it to the dealer and have them deal with it. I started to move and once i got over 5MPH i lost my headlights, Tach, and temperature gauges. So i drove it to the dealer less then a quarter of a mile away. On Monday they said it was the ignition thermal sensor that fried a panel.
A recall that was never done. So on Tuesday they said it was all fixed. I went to pick it up and the same problems. so here it is Wednesday and they are still trying to diagnose the problem.
I was wondering if any of you guys had this problem or know what it is.
