Hey guy im looking to wire some neons into my interior read the faq about how to set em up couple questions though on it.
1. Do i need to run an inline fuse to each neon or can i just run the series say like this...
Inline fuse/toggle switch/neon/wire/neon/wire or do i need a fuse between each bulb
2. I read about resistors and L.E.D.S these arnt required for running 12v bulbs the way im talking about are they?
3. if i get the 3 lead toggle switch and just do the ground from there thats the only ground that i need if running my lights this way right?
4. my freind told me i should use the round fuses instead of the kind that go in your fuse panel cause they last longer is this true?
thx ahead of time for any answers that will help me =)
1: you can fuse them individually if you want to, but it's not necessary. I fused mine before the switch, and i've had zero problems.
2: if the bulb is rated to 12v, you're fine.
3: You can ground them to the switch or to the chassis. It's a personal call.
4: I don't think you're gonna draw enough current to blow a fuse anyway, so use whatever you have.

As for questions 1 through 3, I dont know if I would trust myself wiring anything if I had to ask those kind of questions.
As for question 4. I prefer the mini fuses, as found in the dash fuse panel Why?... More common, cheaper, and you already (hopefully) got spares.
And no, one doesnt last longer then the other. Although, if one did last longer, i would say the mini fuses would last longer. The glass tubes can break, or the wire can shake loose; whereas the mini fuses are plastic and the fuse eliment is a good solid peice.
