I have a friend with 2 12 inch MTX subs and an amp, box, wiring, for a deal that I cant pass up. The problem is that I only have the stock cd player, will this work http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Tsunami-RCA-Line-Output-Converter-FLLOC600-/sem/rpsm/oid/89601/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do has anyone ever kept the stock cd player with subs and how did it sound/work, thanks alot

yeah. Tap into your rear 6x9 speaker wires for the RCA converter, and run your RCAs from the converter to your amp. You should be fine.

If the amp has high level inputs, use those for gods sake. Inline converters are the absolute last resort you should go to.
