Hello all. I went to put a deck in amy 05 Sunfire. I have run into a problem, I cant get the stock deck out. does anyone know how or can anyone offer suggestions on how to. maybe even diagrams? thank you

What exactly are you stuck on? What's holding you up?
You do have the top dash pad off, and the whole radio/HVAC bezel off, right?

on a sunfire there are two phillip head screws to the right of the radio, open the glove box door and you will see them. you then can pull the center trim around the radio out. there are three 7mm bolts holding the radio in.
really? thats AWESOME! my friend and i were wondering but we didnt wanna start ripping stuff out. noting will be holding us up anymore. YAY!!
what color is the remote wire on the stock deck. we care out installing it now. yay!

The remote turn on wire for an amp? There isn't one...
then what should be used in place of it to turn the amp on?

Your replacing the stock unit with an aftermarket one, right? Just look in the owners manual of the deck you bought and see which one it is.
no, im trying to keep the stock one. i HAVE an aftermarket deck but its out for repairs right now. CAN you use the stock deck with an amp. future shop made me buy some thingy that makes RCA inputs.
