Usually if you get cheap RCA's, you'll get interference. I've had problems with lower-grade RCA's and noise.

Beat it like it owes you money

Well from back in the day, i have what Lundis calls crap RCA's, but i havent had a single problem with them.

They will be separated from my Power lines, ( i know this is debatable if this is a problem), and i will ensure to have a solid ground.

It depends on what you're using them for. If it's for Bass, then you probably won't even notice a problem. But if it's for highs, then you may notice a problem. Scosche rca's can be had at walmart for around 12 bucks.....

I got three sets of these:
$12 each for 20 footers
I spent just under $350 with these guys when I ordered, they're good to deal with..

I was taught at college that it wont make a difference in small applications....such as with a car.

BUT i once replaced my 5 dollar walmart rca cables with stinger twisted pair (highest end stinger RCA's at the time) and the difference was like night and day.

AND i had my power cable down one side...and rca down the other....there wasnt much to cause interference...

just my two cents

Well i went to Best buy to pick a couple sets up, and I remembered quite a few people saying about the monster cables, i priced them at $5 more per RCA, so decided to go with those....
Thanks for the Help!!!

Wired everything up...
last night the system sounded awesome.
got up this morning put my faceplate on the stereo, and got crazy interferance with whining of the engine etc....
I am pretty sure i read that this is more than likely the ground wire, which i will check after work.......This sound right?

90% of the time its bad grounds that cause alternator whine.

I checked the ground from the amp, and it is good, its on bare metal, but when i unplug the new rca 's in back of the stereo it stops whinning, as well when i do it with my amp rca's.
But i leave my other set of rca's plugged in, and there is no whinning...
i just bought two sets of these monster power rca's...

It is sooooo annoying!!!
Where else could i check?i separated the power/rca's

the other thing i wanted to mention is my ground cable is quite long, probably between 24-30 " from ground location to amp....
not sure if this would effect this like that or not but...
