I'm a new J-body.org member, and I've got a couple lighting questions:
In a few months I'd like to hook up some interior lights in my car. I was thinking of having 1 under each side of the dash, and one under the front and back of both the driver and passenger seats. I also wanted to be able to have the sound activated to the bass. I have no interior mods as of now, and a stock audio system. I know very little about car electronics, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also I will be installin new tail lghts in a week or so. I've never done it and I don't know if there is anything that might be hard. Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you.

After all, Civics need something nice to look at...
At places like Autozone, Checker, and Pep Boys you can buy little neon lights that flash to the bass...around $12/each...
they flash to any vibration really.....
Not unintentionally accelerating since 2009!!!!
i saw some onine that are about $20 for a 15" light, and they each come with a sensor, what i'd like to do it have them all hooked up to one sensor in the back, dash light sensors near door speakres, and seat lights near rear speakers. any tips on this or just general tips on what i'd need to do to install a setup light that?

There is also a module you can buy, to hook up a "reguar" light, and it is adjustable for sound, or steady on. I forget where I got the one I had a few years ago. I think it was from Lite Glow, or Street Glow. I don't remember. But I hooked a few lights to it.
I see you want it to go off to the bass. Do you have a sub or just stock? If you do have a Sub then you can just hook the lights up to the amp. Ground the ground wire and hook the power wire up to the sub out on the amp. This is better then buying the premade ones because the lights only flash to the bass and get brighter depending how hard the bass hits.
autoflow, i've got a stock audio system, it's gonna stay that way for a while. the system i want will require removing the rear seat and won't be too cheap. anyway, got any suggestions for installing the setup without an after market amp?
thanx

depending on your lights, and your amp, hookign them to the amp may not last very long. I did that with one, and blew it on the first note (after i turned the volume up)
if you hook led's to your speaker line(+ and -), they flash to the music. I mean DC current is only the upper part of a sine wave, so it works perfect.

Yeah BradSk88 is right. As for blowing the lights it must have been a fluke. Ive done everything from Led's to under body kits never with any problems
