Ok well I have 3 memphis mclass single voice coil subs, and a 1000D mono block amp, stable at one ohm, well this is why I am mad, I have a buddy that has a system that has crappy subs and a crappy amp. I do believe pyle and lanzar, well anyway, it is so loud, I cant even sit in the car, now dont get me wrong mine is loud to but his is much louder and he paid half the price that I did. or less. this sucks, I do believe that I am going to get a memphis mojo amp and mojo sub,
Wait six months and do the test again.

There's a number of factors. Box size, ported or sealed, hatchback or trunk, etc... could make a huge difference. I took my old system and installed it in my buddy's S10 and it didn't hit nearly as hard as it did in my Sunfire.
Beat it like it owes you money
americonium hit this on the head. and I bet yours sounds a ton better than that crap.
Yeah, SQ is the big diffference here.

Yeah I have 2 12 inch memphis DVC's ported with a 1200watt profile amp. They are pretty freakin loud. But In the long run yours will alst longer and sound wayyy better then his. may not be as loud. But like dirty elf said product quality is much better.

I got 2 Audiobahn 12s and a Hifonics BX1000D, hits like MAD just sux because now some of my friends are gettin money and more into Bass and by the end of this summer my system ain't gonna b even close 2 loud anymore
if it ain't broke...MAKE IT GO FASTER
give me about 2 months and i will be showing pics of my new stereo setup.. 2 12" memphis mojo subs and a 1500 watt memphis amp will cost you around 2g's ( if u got a shop to install it) i priced mine out at a shop where im been getting some electronics for my car and thats including installation and a box made for the subs to hit close to 150 if not more with the amp being tuned
i believe the amp is in the $800's and the subs are in the mid $400 range each.
i've got about 350$ in cash plus about $500 in credit cards; only 1200 to go!!!
damn 2g's you can get something better for that price but you will be around 143 on the newmics not 150.

YOU will never get enough power from that amp to power 2 mojo subs, trust me, the local dealer said that you would almost need 1 mojo amp per mojo sub, they are for comp. BE warned, also I was told not to get the mojos by him because they suck so much juice from the car that once the bass hits it could shut the car off.
I know a guy running four mojo amps in a CRX with one battery and stock 65 amp alt and it did just fine. 156-158 db fine. in dbdrag street c. and if you are talking about the mojo subs sucking juice you are wrong. suibs take power not make power.
I have currently in my cav a JL audio 300/4 running to boston 4x6's and 6x9's with a rockford 800a2 powering a rockford p3 12 inch, and the sq is great, and you can hear it all the way down the block. My alternator isnt too happy though!!!
not to get the mojo amps by who? do u even know the shop im talking about?i dont think i ever stated by what shop i was buying my stereo from. if u replace the alternator to at leats 150amps and change the battery to a deep cycle and change the power cable to a 4 gauge; you will be fine; arent i correct? the 12" mojo subs push 500 watts continous each. im buying 1 1500 watt mojo amp; how is that "never get enough power from that amp to power 2 mojo subs"?
my old set up had about a 300 amp draw with the stock alternator and a red top under the hood and a yellow in the trunk just fine. but i still say for $2000 you can get something alot better the 2 mojo's and a 1500D.
hey nate my friend paul carmicle (i cant spell) has a crx with a stinger 1700, 2 mojo's pushing 2 mt 12's in street B, he didn't do to bad i think it was around 153
I had a friend had a single used DVC Cerwin Vega 15" sub in a smaller than recommended sealed box. His vehicle was a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. The box was wedged in the rear storage area, the sub facing the gas tank, with ½ of the sub face showing above. His amp was a Jensen amp he picked up from Walmart.
After he got done installing it, he pulled up next to me and cranked up the volume. This setup hit so hard, it was insane. I was like
Yeah, pry extremely crappy SQ, but like he cared

I would really love to see anycar that has 4 mojo amps running off of 1 battery and stock alt. OK well let me clear this up, I am in the same boat that you are in sara kingsman, I am in actually looking to upgrade my system too. Well I went to my local memphis dealer and told him what I wanted be basically told me NOT to mess with the mojo amps and subs. Now I would think that if he wasnt telling the truth then he would have sold me then, since they are like 400-500 per sub and a crap load more for the amp. I do know of a guy that has a nissan 240sx with a mojo amp and 2 memphis 10" subs and a memphis cap, running 4gauge power wire and it actually will make his car stall when he has his stereo cranked. Im just stating what I kno. Do what you want tho, its your money, good luck on what ever you decide to do

Ask and you shall receive. BTW he was top ten in the world but didnt go to finals bc he couldn't get the numbers he wanted out of it to win. he was doing high 156s at the time.
Mark I know paul. And I"ve met terry brocks. Both way cool guys. I met em at a show in NC.
His car probably stalls bc he is using 4 gauge power wire for 2.5kw of power.
your friend in the 280 shouldn't be running 4 gauge to that amp. theres his first mistake, and being how big a mistake that is, i'd bet he's made a few other mistakes with is install causing the car to stall.
as far as a 2000 watt amp never being able to power a pair of mojo, thats nonsence. at that you'd be feeding them their max rating wich would be more then enough power to get them moving pretty fine.

Man I love posts like these.
Like Jason said, his car stalls because he is using 4 gauge wiring. Tell him to upgrade to 1/0 and see if it does. If it still does, he has a bigger problem then just the amp.
Hi Mark, hi Nate.
