When you purchase gauges such as fuel pressure, oil pressure, a/f etc, how difficult are each of the installs, and do the gauges normally come with the wires/hoses to do it or do you have to purchase those seperately. I have been thinking of gathering some so when I add nitrous I have them.
I was thinking A/f, fuel pressure, what other one would anyone suggest? Or any combo, just wanted to know how difficult it was to instal them.
A/F GAUGE IS PRETTY EASY & VOLTMETER WOULD ALSO BE VERY EASY. fUEL PRESSURE AND OIL PRESSURE ARE NOT THAT HARD, HARDEST PART IS FINDING WHERE TO TAP INTO.

Stage 1 gauges are very usefull. Volt, Tranny temp, oil pressure.
Very easy to install, and most gauges come hwith atleast the basic needed hardware, though sometimes other parts are needed. I suggest say with Electronic gauges, that way you dont plumb oil, or fuel into the seating compartment of your car.
An Amp meter is not needed and can cause a fire in the dash.

My Ammeter didn't cause a fire....

An ampmeter, ammeter is helpful if you are running a whole lot of wattage and are interested in how much you are pulling.
The above will only cause a fire if you wire it incorrectly or just do a plain piss poor job installing it, just like most other electronics.
