How to figure out box drop... I want to run my sub at full power and can't do that if I don't know what ohms its really running..
Do you own an Ohm meter?
Or how you sub(s) are wired? How Many channel amp? How is it wired?

I think I have a ohm meter. And I have one re audio 18xxx wired down to 2 ohms.
What do you mean by "box drop"?
I think he's referring to this elusive impedance RISE that people speak of. I just keep picturing him dropping boxes throughout this thread though, fun mental image

oh, trust us, we know
Oh.
Well regardless, getting "full power" involves a touch more than impedance-math.
Find out if anyone in your area has an o scope.
Impedence rise is measured at a frequency vs ohms. If you're using the setup as a daily listener impedence rise goes out the window because music fluxuates frequencies so much.
to the OP, go on the12volt.com you will find all your answers there.
