First off I am new to the cavi. world so i don't know much about them so i installed my dvd player head unit in my 01 cavi. z24 the same way i have done many other head units in many other cars but this is the first time i came across this type of a problem in my car is a 5 inch after market tach the previous owner had attached two wires from it to the wires for the factory stereo so when i installed my dvd player head unit my gages on the dash went crazy and the wierdest thing happened the car won stay running at all please help me if you would like you can call me anytime484-505-8737 i really need the help. thanx

I had a similar issue, but my headlight caused it. Unplug your guages and plug them back in, then reset the anti-theft.
