ok first off i am very familiar with car audio and i am m.e.c.p. certified and used to do installs etc.
im not lookin for s.q. etc. this h/u will be goin in a 82 chevy 1 ton plow truck. doors dont lock, etc.
the reson i am looking at this h/u is be cause no c.d. drive to freeze in the winter.
i listen to alot of a/m talk radio and mp3/cds

so im just lookin for any feed back.

oh and speakers are 2 rockford 4x6 2ways in the dash and also two 4 way pioneer 6x9s in small boxes mounted to the roof lol.
the amp is a infiniti kappa series 50w x 4ch rms

all last season i used a cheap coby mp3 player with am/fm and a headphone to rca jack cable conv direct right to the amp lol.

if your talking about spending 40 bucks on a radio i dont think one is going to really shine over the other. kinda like saying, which turd is the cutest lol.

Go get a cheap JVC. Get the KDR210, it's usually under $80 depending where you look.

Dual deck fizzle out in a big hurry.

if the doors dont lock he'd be better off with a no-name brand, less likely for someone to steal. at 38 bucks you an afford to replace it every 6 months or so if it dies out. lol

picked up an older jensen for $10 at a garage sale
it has the aux input jack on the front. it has a remote and 3 sets or rca outs.
it works for me lol.

Yeah no reason really to ask opinions on any radio under $100. I personally would have just gone to the junk yard and pulled one for free.

I don't know what kind of junk yard u go to, but cd players aren't free. Unless u were referring to being a scum bag and stealing one?

Plus, no not all cheap CD players are the same.
I install at least 5 KDR-210s every week and I have seen maybe 1 of them back this year. I installed 2 Dual decks and they both came back dead.

just bought 3 jvc kdr-210s today from best but for $36ea since they were on clearance at best buy.
